LICA attended The 3rd National Symposium on Gas Isotope Technology and Earth Science Applications

On May 17, 2021, the 3-day 'Third National Gas Isotope Technology and Earth Science Application Symposium' came to an end at the Beijing Petroleum Science and Technology Exchange Center. This conference was hosted by the Gas Geochemistry Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Mineralogy, Petrology and Geochemistry, the Isotope Professional Committee of the Chinese Geological Society, and the Isotope Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Mineralogy, Petrology and Geochemistry. 15 other units jointly undertake it.

In the two and a half days of indoor academic conference, nearly 700 people from 176 geoscience units including Chinese Academy of Sciences, Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences, China Earthquake Administration, PetroChina, Sinopec, China University of Petroleum, China University of Geosciences, Peking University, etc. attended the conference. The content of the seminar mainly focused on the application of gas isotope technology in the fields of oil and gas geochemistry, deposit geochemistry, ecology, environmental science, hydrology, cryosphere science, and archaeology.
