June 18, 2021, sponsored by the Chinese Society of Natural Resources and Sichuan Normal University, undertaken by the School of Geography and Resource Science of Sichuan Normal University, the Key Laboratory of Southwest Land Resources Evaluation and Monitoring of the Ministry of Education, Chengdu Institute of Mountain Disasters and Environment, Chinese Academy of Sciences, The 2020-2021 annual academic meeting of the Chinese Society of Natural Resources co-organized by the Mountain Resources Research Committee of the Chinese Society of Natural Resources, the Sichuan Provincial Department of Natural Resources, the Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and other units was held in Chengdu, Sichuan. More than 1,300 experts, scholars and graduate students from universities and research institutes across the country attended this annual meeting.
The theme of this annual conference is 'Focus on resource science innovation and practice to promote ecological civilization and development in the western region'. Domestic academicians and experts are invited to give keynote speeches, conduct academic exchanges, and focus on prominent contradictions and hotspots in the use of natural resources and ecological environmental protection. Issues, leading resource science and technology innovation, highlighting the integration of technology and local society and economy, creating a professional and high-level academic exchange platform, and actively serving the national and local ecological civilization construction and social and economic development.
At the invitation of the organizer, LICA set up a technical consultation desk at the venue and introduced related products applied to natural resource utilization and ecological environment protection to the participating scholars in the form of exhibition boards.
