From April 11 to 13, 2026, the 11th Youth Geoscience Forum was held in Guangzhou. Hosted by the Youth Geoscience Forum Council and co-organized by the Guangzhou Institute of Geochemistry (Chinese Academy of Sciences), the South China Botanical Garden (Chinese Academy of Sciences), and Sun Yat-sen University, the event attracted over 6,800 representatives from numerous universities, research institutes, and geoscience organizations nationwide.

Initiated by young Chinese earth scientists, the Youth Geoscience Forum features distinguished scientists as advisors and young scholars and graduate students as its primary participants. Dedicated to fostering "interactive communication and innovative development" among young geoscience researchers, the forum encourages free and equal exchange and discussion. To date, it has successfully hosted ten previous editions.

This year's forum registered over 6,800 participants and featured 24 themes, 365 specialized sessions, 10 keynote reports, 76 parallel sub-forums, more than 4,200 sub-forum presentations, and over 400 poster presentations. The content covered cutting-edge fields including geology, geography, atmospheric sciences, oceanography, and environmental sciences.

As an active participant in the ecological and environmental sector, LICA United Technology Limited attended this grand event with its advanced R&D achievements. The company comprehensively showcased its extensive experience and practical applications in the environmental monitoring equipment industry, attracting numerous experts and scholars for in-depth communication and laying a solid foundation for future industry-university-research collaborations.

Youth represents the future of the nation and the hope for geoscience development. The innovative thinking and rigorous academic attitude demonstrated by young scholars at this forum have greatly inspired LICA. We are deeply honored to participate in such a high-level academic event. Moving forward, we will continue to uphold an open and cooperative approach, translating cutting-edge scientific research into practical productivity and contributing to the advancement of China's earth science endeavors.
