Academician Shao Mingan from the Institute of Soil and Water Conservation, Northwest Agriculture and Forestry University gave a special report at the conference 'The Important Contributions and Challenges of the Three-North Shelterbelt'. It pointed out the main problems faced by the Three-North Shelterbelt and the ways to improve the quality and efficiency. At the same time, he shared his long-term research on the ecological construction of the Loess Plateau, the technology and demonstration of improving quality and efficiency with clear waters and lush mountains, and put forward suggestions and countermeasures on how to do a good job in rural revitalization.
