From August 6th to 8th, 2019, China FLUX's 14th Flux Observation Theory and Technology Training Conference was successfully held in Beijing.
The training was conducted by ChinaFLUX, China Ecosystem Research Network (CERN), National Ecosystem Observing Research Network (CNERN), Institute of Geographic Sciences and Resources of Chinese Academy of Sciences (IGSNRR), Campbell Scientific Inc. and LICA Co-organized. From the Chinese Academy of Sciences system, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Chinese Academy of Forestry, China Meteorological Administration System, Tsinghua University, Peking University, Beijing Normal University, Beijing Forestry University, China University of Geosciences, China Ocean University, China Agricultural University, Zhongshan University, A total of 120 participants from 49 research institutes and units such as Southwest University and Lanzhou University participated in the training.
Through this training, the participants have a deeper understanding of the basic theory and instrumental techniques of boundary layer meteorology for flux observation, improved the understanding of the quality of flux data, and understood and mastered the method of data quality grading. The new technology of flux observation and its application and future development trends are also systematically mastered.
ChinaFLUX flux observation theory and technology series training, helping flux observation research and training of young talents has become an important learning and communication opportunity for first-line researchers, which strongly supports the continuity and development of flux observation research in China. The training was successfully completed and I look forward to the next wonderful continuation.
