Preface

 

Soil carbon and nitrogen cycling is an important component of carbon and nitrogen cycling in terrestrial ecosystems, small changes can lead to significant changes in greenhouse gas emissions. There is an antagonistic relationship between the effects of CO2CH4 and N2O in soil, like a “teeterboard”, in order to reveal the influencing factors and emission mechanism, it is necessary to measure carbon and nitrogen gas exchange simultaneously and accurately.

 

SF-3500 Multi-Channel Automatic Soil Greenhouse Gas Flux Measuring System, the latest instrument developed by LICA, it can measure N2OCH4CO2CO and water vapor fluxes in soil at multiple points, help scientists to realize continuous and long-term monitoring of soil carbon flux, as many as 18 chambers can be connected. Meanwhile, SF-3500 can also be used for the study on N2O, CH4, CO2, CO and water vapor profiles. SF-3500 has the function of control, data storage, and data analysis, etc..

u  Measure N2OCH4CO2CO and water vapor fluxes in soil at multiple points, realize continuous and    long-term monitoring of soil carbon flux;

u  The SF-3500 multiplexer can connect with 18 chambers, making it ideal for multi-repetition and multi-processing experimental designs; The SF-3500 multiplexer has the function of control, monitor, and review measurements from each chamber;

u  Soil chamber cable length:15 m (can be extended to 30m)

u  Continuous, High-precision, Automatic, Unattended, Long-term monitoring in the field;

u  Automatic calculation of gas flux without data processing;

u  Each chamber can be connected to auxiliary sensors, such as: Soil temperature and humidity sensor ;
